The Airport Development Authority (A.D.A.) are members of the community who are appointed by the Idaho County Commission for three-year terms and currently include three prominent residents and businessmen of the Idaho County region. The appointed members of the ADA are paid $100 per meeting and report to the Liason Facilitator as well as periodic meetings with the Idaho County Commission. Their task is to drive the ideas, development and subsequent expansion of the county airport facility for long term economic growth potential and sustainable airport initiatives.
Retired in September 2009 from the United States Forest Service after 30+ years of service as an engineer, Mike Cook’s role is to work with the Members of the Airport Development Authority (A.D.A.) and convey the information and goals, progress and funding requirements to the Idaho County Commission.

Gene L. Dandliker
President and owner of Jem Machine, Inc. since 1983, Gene Dandliker worked in the lumber equipment field for 40 years. During this time three years was with Nicholson Mfg. Co. in Seattle Wa, overseeing machine fabrication and assembly shop. Five years was spent with Danco, Inc. owner and representative for capital equipment for the sawmill industry. Gene was owner of Mill Creek Lumber, a stud mill in Stayton, Or. for two years. For the past 24 years Gene has specialized in buying and selling new and used capital sawmill machinery. Jem Machine services include mill evaluations, appraisals and surveys to the lumber industry.
Jem Machine, Inc. offices are located on Airport Road in one of the original hangars at the Idaho County Airport. Gene obtained his pilots license at the age of 53 after a lifetime dream of flying and has clocked close to 500 hours of flight time in under 10 years.
Ted Lindsley owner operator of award winning Super 8 Motel Grangeville and Gateway Inn. Grangeville’s Super 8 Motel is regarded as a Showcase Property by the Super 8 Franchise because it’s high standards on Interior and Exterior Design as well as Hospitality and Dress codes.
Born and raised in Grangeville. Ted earned Business degrees from Lewis Clark State and Boise State University. He grew up in the family Furniture business, Lindsley’s Home Furnishings, started in 1942 by his grandparents Sam & Muriel Lindsley and later expanded by his parents Tom and Judy Lindsley. Ted and his wife, Wendy have three children, Drew, 13, Jon, 29 and Kelly, 23. Ted has been involved in the community since returning to Grangeville in 1988. He enjoys coaching and has coached youth baseball, High school and Jr High football and Track and field teams. He is currently a board member on the North Central Travel Association also.
Ted was the US. Small Business Administration’s “Small Business Person of the Year for North Central Idaho in 2004 and continues to work with his two brothers, Jeff, Lindsley’s Home Furnishings and Russ, who also works at the Furniture Store but is involved in his own cattle business on his Ranch.
Shannon is Plant Manager at Idaho Forest Group’s Grangeville Mill. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Idaho in 1991 and earned an Executive MBA from the University of Utah in 2000. Prior to joining Idaho Forest Group in 2006, Shannon worked for Chevron where she held numerous positions with increasing responsibility in the Technical, Maintenance/Reliability and Operations organizations. She also represented Chevron’s small refineries worldwide on the Technical Leadership Group responsible for optimizing technical resources, capabilities and strategic planning. Shannon is a member of the UI Chemical and Materials Engineering Advisory Board and the UI College of Engineering Advisory Board. She is also active in her local community serving on the Kids Klub and Airport Development Authority boards and volunteering at Saints Peter and Paul School. Shannon and her husband Patrick have two children.
