Recycling Report

Participation and enthusiasm continues to grow as pounds collected surpasses the initial expectations.The original goal of 100 tons for the first year was met in the first eight months of recycling with a total of 204,444 pounds collected by May 31. The compactor at Cash and Carry has added nearly 18,00 pounds to collection numbers. Cardboard collection continues to grow as more businesses become involved.
