| The Idaho County Dispatch center is staffed by six dispatchers and one supervisor and has personnel on duty 24 hours a day to assist you. This dispatch center is the only 24-hour center in Idaho County and dispatches for all Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical agencies within the county.
Every call is important to us and your patience is appreciated if we must ask you to hold, as the dispatcher on duty may be working alone.
Idaho County is currently in the process of rural addressing the county in preparation for enhanced 911. When completed this will be very beneficial to the citizen and visitors of Idaho County as it will be easier to identify locations and address for emergency responders.
When calling in an emergency, please remain calm and be prepared to answer several questions for the dispatcher relating to the who, what, when, where, why and how of the incident. These questions will assist them in providing you with the appropriate assistance in the fastest manner.
